AUSTIN—Live Oak-Gottesman has a new leadership team in place. The company has announced that Scott Flack is its new president. Other longtime associates join the leadership team: Rhonda Jaquez, managing director of asset services; Doug Thomas, managing director of leasing; and Mike Joyce, the current chief operating officer.

“I could not be more excited about or humbled by this incredible opportunity,” Flack told GlobeSt.com. “The future is bright at Live Oak-Gottesman; we have some great new business in the pipeline over here that we will soon be in a position to announce.”

Flack started his real estate career with The Gottesman Co. in 2000 and joined Live Oak-Gottesman in 2007 when the companies merged. He has managed the industrial and office leasing divisions, which are responsible for leasing an approximately seven-million-square-foot portfolio.

Since the merger, Live Oak-Gottesman has been led by CEO Rob Golding, Dan Herd, Jim Holden and Sandy Gottesman. Herd and Holden founded Live Oak Development in 1983 and developed some of the earliest mixed-use projects in Central Texas. Gottesman formed The Gottesman Co. in 1993 after 20 years at Trammell Crow Co.  Between 1993 and 2007, he was responsible for the development of more than three million square feet of space.
