DALLAS--Granite Properties has announced two new restaurants are coming to its flagship master-planned development Granite Park in Plano.
Blue Fish, a Japanese and Asian fusion concept restaurant with six other Texas locations, will take over existing space fronting the Highway 121 service road. The restaurant plans to open in June. Hickory Kitchen, a new concept by chef Kent Rathbun, will serve burgers and barbecue in a 6,500-square-foot space with a modern roadhouse feel. Hickory Kitchen will also feature a 1,374-square-foot outdoor patio; it's slated to open this summer.
"Our vision for Granite Park has always seen the potential for an entertainment destination here," Greg Fuller, Granite Properties chief operating officer, told GlobeSt.com. "We're elated to welcome Hickory Kitchen and Blue Fish to Granite Park, and they're just the beginning.”
Granite Park consists of four completed class A office towers, the 299-room Hilton Dallas/Plano Granite Park conference hotel and a fifth office tower schedule to deliver this fall. Granite also recently announced plans for The Boardwalk, a collection of signature restaurants that overlook an animated water feature in front of the Hilton Granite Park.
Granite Park is currently home to 25,000 square feet of retail and restaurant tenant space. Granite Park Four, which delivered last summer, is 80 percent leased with several leases being finalized, and two floors have already been pre-leased at Granite Park Five. The park is served by the newly minted GPASS, the Granite Park Area Shuttle System, which shuttles tenants from the office towers to the nearby Shops at Legacy.
