WOODBRIDGE, NJ—The joint-venture partnership of Advance Realty and F. Greek Development has completed construction of a 190,000-square-foot, refrigerated storage and distribution center in Woodbridge, NJ. Preferred Freezer Services, a worldwide operator of temperature-controlled warehouses, has leased the massive, built-to-suit facility.

Located on 9.3 acres at 275 Blair Road in Woodbridge, NJ, the state-of-the-art facility features a design temperature of negative 10-degrees Fahrenheit and a clearance height of 53 feet.

“To maintain a position as a global leader in refrigerated storage, a modern facility in Middlesex County, New Jersey's industrial market, is critical,” says John Galiher, Preferred Freezer Services CEO. “Advance Realty and F. Greek Development were outstanding partners every step of the way in building this spectacular warehouse, which sets a new industry standard for advanced technology, energy efficiency, and strategic use of land.”

Advance Realty and F. Greek Development worked with Preferred Freezer throughout the process to ensure that the warehouse would serve the company's technical needs while providing a logistics hub in one of the nation's most strategically advantageous industrial corridors. The facility is located less than a mile from Exit 12 on the New Jersey Turnpike, and three exits south of Newark Liberty Airport and Port Newark/Elizabeth Marine Terminal.

“Because of its location in the heart of Central New Jersey's industrial market, this new, world-class warehouse will put Preferred Freezer in position to continue its growth as one of the world's leading providers of refrigerated storage services,” says Peter Cocoziello, president of Advance Realty. “We are delighted to have completed the construction and we look forward to building similarly specialized industrial facilities for other corporations looking to take advantage of this area's proximity to major ports and highways.”

“The completion of this refrigerated warehouse for Preferred Freezer not only represents the opportunity to welcome an outstanding corporation to Woodbridge, but also another step forward for Woodbridge as a global logistics hub,” says F. Greek Development president Frank Greek.  We're certain that Preferred Freezer will realize all of the benefits of its custom-designed and strategically positioned facility.”
