TYSONS, VA—Capital One has signed a lease for 136,000 square feet at 1750 Tysons Blvd., a 405,000-square foot office tower within Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II. Lerner Enterprises is the developer of the ambitious project.
Capital One expects to open its offices in the 18-story tower in late 2015 occupying six full floors.
Capital One was represented by Jeffrey M. Roman and John DiCamillo of CBRE. Tysons II and Lerner were represented by Brian F. Tucker, Moe H. Hamilton, and John B. Dragelin of Cushman & Wakefield's Virginia office.
Tysons II is a master planned development containing high-end retail, office, hotel and residential projects. The office component includes 1600 Tysons Boulevard, a 305,000 square foot tower; 1650 Tysons Blvd., a 395,000 square foot tower; 1750 Tysons Blvd.; and the 320,000-square foot 1800 Tysons Blvd.
The latest addition is 1775 Tysons Blvd., a 476,000-square foot, 18-story tower that is expected to deliver by year's end. The building has been designed for LEED Platinum certification.
