BRIDGEWATER, NJAdvance Realty has named Richard A. Crooker, formerly a partner at Madison, NJ firm Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, as its general counsel.

Richard's extensive legal experience in business leadership positions will enable him to serve as an invaluable resource for our team.”

Crooker will serve as an integral member of the Advance Realty executive team, utilizing his strategic skill set to consult and advise on legal matters for the company. He will be the conduit to and manage outside legal counsel for real estate and joint venture transactions and will manage the structuring, drafting and negotiating of all agreements.

At Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, Crooker focused on transactions, counseling and dispute resolution for clients spanning all areas of expertise. From 2003 to 2007, he served as general counsel for International Risk Group in Denver, CO, where he handled all legal aspects in a business leadership role at the brownfield consulting and redevelopment company. During his career, Crooker was also founder and partner at Cuyler Burk and a commercial litigation associate at Stryker Tams & Dill.

Crooker holds a JD degree from Rutgers University and a BA in Government from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the New Jersey State and Federal Bars.
