NEW YORK CITY—Laurence Carroll has joined the New York Tri-State office of Cushman & Wakefield as a senior associate. Carroll, a former broker with Vortex Group, is now based in C&W's world headquarters office in Midtown Manhattan.

“The Tri-State region has been steadily attracting a succession of talented brokers to our ranks, said Ron Lo Russo, president of Cushman & Wakefield's New York Tri-State Region. “With his range of professional talents, we expect Larry Carroll to make a significant contribution to the success of our overall brokerage team.” 

While with the Vortex Group, Carroll acted as a tenant representative. He previously worked as a commercial construction project manager after relocating to the United States from Ireland in 2007.

Carroll holds an engineering degree from the Dublin Institute of Technology, as well as a degree in construction, engineering and management from the University of Ulster-Belfast. He also chairs the University of Ulster's New York alumni group. He is active in Catholic Charities of New York, the Junior Board, the American Irish Historical Society, and Concern Worldwide, an international charitable organization.
