HOUSTON—Miami, Fla.-based Lloyd Jones Capital, which specializes in multifamily investment in Florida, Texas and South Carolina, has opened a Houston office to serve the Houston and San Antonio markets.
This is the company's second Texas office; it opened a Dallas-Fort Worth office earlier this year.
Located at 2929 Allen Pkwy., Suite 200, the office will house two senior executives—Fin Erwin and Fernando Zamarripa, both vice presidents of investments—whose responsibilities will be to identify, acquire, underwrite and asset manage the company's multifamily investments.
Erwin graduated from TCU and holds both a law and MBA degree from Texas Tech. He was admitted to Texas Bar in 2012 and has worked as acquisition analyst for a $3-billion REIT and large pension fund. As an attorney, he has served as corporate negotiator for land acquisitions and facility leases.
Zamarripa earned a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Houston and a master's degree in real estate from The University of Texas. He has knowledge of the Houston and San Antonio markets, having spent his career in real estate construction and development in the area.
Lloyd Jones Capital CEO and founder Chris Finlay is excited with the new team.
"These guys are really sharp, and their skills are complementary,” he says. “Good multifamily investment properties are hard to find in this market, but my team is in the process of locking down some spectacular opportunities for our investors. "
