IRVINE, CA—With continued low interest rates and plenty of available capital, JLL is responding by adding debt and equity expertise to its roster in Los Angeles. JLL's Capital Markets has hired Kim Westerbeck as senior vice president. Working under the direction of managing director Chris Casey, Westerbeck is tasked with securing debt and equity for office, industrial, retail, hotel and multifamily properties throughout the western United States.

“Kim's breadth of knowledge across all asset types is impressive and she holds a successful track record in structuring construction loans, bridge loans, term loans, and revolving credit facilities,” said Casey. “Our clients will benefit immediately from her addition to the team.”

Westerbeck holds more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience and joins JLL from KBS Realty Advisors where she was responsible for arranging nearly $4 billion in financings on behalf of various institutional clients. She earned her bachelor degree from the California State University Long Beach.
