IRVING, TX—Avion Business Park, a 50-acre tract located at State Highway 114 and Royal Lane between Esters Boulevard and Freeport Parkway in Irving, will welcome Woolley's Classic Suites to its tenant mix.
“The addition of Woolley's Classic Suites to this prime piece of property, near the D/FW airport, is a key component of our overall plans,” Bill Guthrey, senior vice president of KDC, the project's developer, told GlobeSt.com. “Many business travelers want to stay in upscale accommodations in a business park setting. Avion Business Park will meet this need.”
This will be the second U.S. location for Woolley's, a 250-room, full-service hotel, offering suites larger than industry average, with features like spacious desks and 46-inch wall-mounted flat-panel TVs. Onsite amenities include a restaurant and lounge, in-suite dining, a 24-hour gift shop and business center, flexible meeting spaces, guest laundry, a fitness center and a complimentary airport shuttle.
The first Woolley's opened in Aurora, CO., in May 2014, near Denver International Airport.
Also at Avion, the American College of Emergency Physicians recently broke ground on a three-story, 57,000-square-foot headquarters; the remaining 33 acres in the development is suitable for corporate office campuses.
Construction on Woolley's Classic Suites will begin this fall, with completion scheduled for winter 2016. The American College of Emergency Physicians headquarters is scheduled to be completed next summer.
