WARREN, NJ–GSK Consumer Healthcare, formed from the merger of Glaxo Smith Kline's consumer health unit with Novartis OTC, is putting is US headquarters at Center 78 in Warren, with a 10-year lease on nearly two floors of the office building.

Normandy Real Estate Partners has leased 144,000 square feet to GSK Consumer Healthcare.  The property, at 184 Liberty Corner Road in Warren, NJ, is a four-story, 372,000-square-foot class A office destination that recently underwent an extensive capital expenditure program.

“We set out to create a unique, class A environment at Center 78 and attracting a global leader in innovative healthcare like GSK Consumer Healthcare substantiates our vision,” says Paul Teti, principal of Normandy Real Estate Partners. “We are thrilled that GSK Consumer Healthcare has selected Center 78 as the home of its US headquarters.”

DTZ's team of Raymond Trevisan, managing principal, William O'Keefe, senior vice president, and Kelsey Nakamura, associate, represented Normandy. Scott Lesh, Dan Loughlin, Ron Cariola, and Tim Nienhuis from Jones Lang LaSalle served as the leasing agents for GlaxoSmithKline.

The new company plans to create a GSK Shopper Science Lab that will use state-of-the art shopper insight tools and technologies to understand how and why shoppers make decisions and what influences their choices.”

Current tenants at Center 78 include UBS, Fiserv, and EMC Corp. Located on 47 acres, the building is located at Exit 33 off Interstate 78. The property is at the central hub of the submarket with immediate access to some of the area's most attractive amenities, including lifestyle centers at Riverwalk, 100 Marketplace and luxury hotels.
