THE WOODLANDS, TX--HALBERDIER Real Estate has closed on 15 more acres near the multi-billion dollar ExxonMobil corporate campus, and has set groundbreaking for its newest development, the GRAND Hardy Riley Crossings.

HALBERDIER will break ground next summer on a 150,000-square-foot medical office building with pad sites for restaurants, convenience retail, banks and other corporate occupier uses. The firm now controls 75 acres within two miles of ExxonMobil, with a planned build-out of 600,000 square feet of mixed-use development.

Another prime HALBERDIER development moving ahead is ENERGY Crossing North, a 288,000-square-foot class A office project breaking ground in August.

The GRAND Hardy Riley Crossings is at the southeast corner of the Hardy Toll Road and Riley Fuzzel, just south of Grand Parkway. Trey Halberdier, president, says Riley Fuzzel is “bulking up, with St. Luke's, HEB and WalMart building there recently, and a number of master-planned residential communities including Toll Brothers.”

"We are creating and executing first class assets to service the needs and wants of our North Houston, Spring and The Woodlands residents,” he said. “The burgeoning growth of the area is catching notice of larger private equity firms and reputable national corporate users for all our mixed-use projects. Despite the uncertainty of oil prices in Houston, we remain extremely bullish on procuring more sites and preserving solid fundamentals and discipline in our execution."
