HOUSTON–Zachry Engineering Corp., a subsidiary of Zachry Group, has signed a long-term lease for 48,500 square feet of office space on the second floor of the recently completed Westchase Park II, a class A office building located at 3600 W. Sam Houston Parkway in Houston.
The growing engineering firm currently occupies 25,000 square feet at 10255 Richmond Ave., and is expected to move into its new location this fall.
Kevin Hodges, senior managing director at Savills Studley represented Zachry in the transaction. Wade Bowlin, John Spafford and Allie Hubbard of PM Realty Group (PMRG) represented the landlord, Columbia Texas Westchase Park Land, in a partnership with Clarion Partners, which also owns the adjacent 3700 Westchase Park I.
“As the firm plans substantial expansion of their process engineering business, Zachry was looking for space that would strategically align with their long term business goals and allow for future growth,” Hodges told GlobeSt.com. “The numerous amenities at Westchase Park II and the concessions we secured undoubtedly provide the perfect real estate solution for Zachry.
“The space at Westchase Park II provides large, efficient floor plates, excellent access to Beltway 8 and high visibility signage along a major traffic artery, which were all key components in our search for the best option for the company.”
The six-story, energy-efficient building is part of a 15.2 acre commercial office campus, with a large water feature and a distinguishing sculpture by Texas artist George Schroeder. Connecting to Westchase Park I, its large floor plate allows for tenants' flexibility.
