HOUSTON--Stewart has announced that it has hired Genady Vishnevetsky as chief information security officer (CISO).
“Genady has proven himself to be an excellent leader who comes with more than two decades of technical expertise in security and technology operations,” Brad Rable, chief information officer at Stewart, told GlobeSt.com. “He was the clear candidate for this position, and we're thrilled to have him join the Stewart Title team. I'm confident that he will take our current security and compliance team to a new level which will benefit our customers and internal organization.”
In his previous role as the vice president of security and information security officer at Paymetric, Vishnevetsky built cyber security, governance and compliance programs for the country's fifth-largest payment processor of card-not-present electronic payments.
The company received a high rating by an independent third-party security assessor. Vishnevetsky also built a Security Operation Center to deliver an “effective, around-the-clock threat monitoring, detection, and response system.”
Vishnevetsky will office in Stewart's corporate headquarters in Houston.
