MOUNT LAUREL, NJ—Two large insurance organizations are relocating into adjoining buildings on Midlantic Drive in Mount Laurel, NJ.

Gallagher Benefit Services is relocating to 4000 Midlantic Drive. It will occupy 34,868 square feet on the second and third floors in the three-story building. The space was previously occupied by Lockheed Martin for more than 20 years. When the space became vacant, Brandywine Realty Trust completely gutted the entire building, reconfigured the main entrance and lobby areas, and replaced the first floor restrooms.

New Jersey Schools Insurance Group will be relocating to 6000 Midlantic Drive, where itwill occupy 20,073 square feet. The firm is moving from a flex-office building in Burlington City because it wanted a more centrally located property, says Colliers.

Evan Zweben of Colliers International's Southern New Jersey office recently concluded two new lease transactions at Laurel Corporate Center. Zweben represented the tenants in both transactions.

“Although we represented the tenants in these two transactions, it validates the advice we give our landlord clients,” says Zweben.  “Tenants in the marketplace have many, maybe too many, options.  It is important that the vacancies show well during space tours.  The tenants do not always have the vision to 'see what could be' done to the space.  In these two examples, the landlords did not tell them, they showed them. The results speak for themselves.”
