NEW YORK CITY—Lightstone has named Jodi Stein to the newly created position of  VP of acquisitions and development. She'll help expand what is currently a $2-billion development platform locally.

In her new role, Stein will work with the acquisitions and development teams to identify new development opportunities and advise on existing projects. Before joining Lightstone, Ms. Stein was a practicing land use and zoning attorney and New York City government relations specialist at one of the city's leading law firms, where she assisted real estate developers with ensuring compliance with the city's laws and regulations.

“Jodi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will play a critical role as Lightstone expands our NYC and national development footprint.” says Lightstone president Mitchell C. Hochberg. “In particular, her deep zoning and regulatory expertise will give us a distinct advantage as we continue to make strategic investments in the New York City region.”
