CHATHAM, NJ—Dermody Properties has relocated its East Region Office to Chatham, NJ from West Conshohocken, PA, and named James Mascaro senior vice president, development, in the office.

The industrial developer is headquartered in Reno, NV, and has three other regional offices in Chicago, Phoenix and Seattle. The company's East Region Office is now located at One Main Street, Suite 202, in Chatham, NJ. The office currently has developments in central and eastern Pennsylvania, northern and southern New Jersey, and Savannah, GA.

“The new office in the heart of the Northern New Jersey market, a key industrial hub of the Northeast,” says Gene Preston, partner, Dermody Properties East Region Office. “We believe Northern New Jersey will prove to be a good home-base for us as we continue to increase our activity throughout the eastern United States.”

Mascaro manages and directs development, design and construction for Dermody Properties' projects throughout the eastern United States.

His promotion includes increased responsibilities for longer-term industrial development and project research and planning, allowing Dermody Properties to do more with the projects they undertake.

James has continued to provide his valuable management skills during his time at Dermody Properties,” said Douglas A. Kiersey Jr., president. “This promotion is in recognition of James' past, present and future contributions to the success of Dermody Properties in the region.”

Mascaro joined Dermody Properties in 2005 as mid-Atlantic development manager and was named development director, East Region in 2009. Prior to joining Dermody Properties, Mascaro spent 11 years with MT Consulting of Bryn Mawr, PA and O'Neill Properties Group.

“I am pleased to be able to continue to use my planning and development expertise,” says Mascaro, “These new skills are needed for complex projects such as those being developed in today's environment.”

Mascaro is a member of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Pennsylvania Association of Code Officials, and holds designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED-AP).
