WASHINGTON, DC—Streetsense has been retained by Events DC, the official convention and sports authority for the District of Columbia, to lease some 19,000 square feet of retail space around the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
Specifically there are 11 retail locations on the exterior of the Convention Center that Streetsense has been tapped to fill. Jared Meier, Roy Hill and Michael Johns are leading the team for Streetsence.
Streetscape will seek restaurants, service-oriented retailers and local merchants as tenants.
Events DC and Streetsense are already in discussions with several prospects, says Gregory A. O'Dell, president and CEO of Events DC in a prepared statement.
