HOUSTON—OliverMcMillan, the developer of the River Oaks District, is bringing a new-to-Texas retailer to the luxury shopping destination. H&M-branded COS, Collection of Style, will establish its first store in in the state.
One of six brands that comprise the H&M Group, COS launched its lifestyle collection on London's Regent Street in 2007. The brand's concept favors style over fashion at an affordable price. The River Oaks District location will span 4,380 square feet.
"Merging traditional methods with new techniques and innovative fabrics, COS creates fashion pieces that look and feel at once classic and modern," says Jeff Zeigler, senior managing director of retail services for OliverMcMillan. "With COS expanding to the U.S. only last year, we are excited to introduce the quickly growing brand to River Oaks District shoppers."
COS will join a coveted array of retailers at the center, including Dior, Cartier and Hermès.
River Oaks District is set to open on October 1.
