FAIRFAX, VA—Renovations at the Fair Oaks Medical Building II have helped spur more than 11,000 square feet in new leased deals, according to the owner.

White Plains, NY-based Seavest Healthcare Properties recently completed a $1-million interior renovation project at the 79,300-square-foot building at 3700 Joseph Siewick Dr. New lease deals promptly followed, including a 6,000-square-foot transaction with Inova Health Care Services for a wound care facility and a 5,100-square-foot lease with Gastroenterology Associates of Northern Virginia for the expansion of its clinical facilities on the campus. The building is located adjacent to the 192-bed Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.

The building's lobbies, restrooms and common areas as well as upgrades to the building mechanical systems were renovated. A new EMS system that monitors all HVAC equipment, replacement of rooftop heating and cooling units, and a new building roof system were installed. Interior renovations included new lighting, flooring and ceiling tiles; new lobby furniture; paint and wall coverings; and updated common area restrooms.
