AVENEL, NJ—If you're smelling garlic and Mediterranean aromas around Avenel, NJ, it's probably Fine Italian Foods Inc., which has leased 17,360 square feet at 42 Mileed Way, a 32,000-square-foot industrial property.  Fine Italian Foods is the North American branch of Compagnia Alimentare Italiana, owner of the Mantova brands and manufacturing organization.

Bussel Realty Corporation's Herb Zimmerman, senior vice president, and Jeffrey Goldfinger, vice president, represented Fine Italian Foods and the landlord, Stephen Bartner of 125 Moen Avenue in Cranford, NJ, in the leasing transaction.

Fine Italian Foods will use the space for the distribution of its fine imported products from Italy to its customers in the New York metro area,” says Zimmerman.  “The company has corporate offices in Naperville, IL, and is relocating its warehouse from Kearny, NJ.”

42 Mileed Way is located near Route 1-9, the New Jersey Turnpike, the Goethals Bridge and Port Newark/Elizabeth.  The property offers 20-foot ceiling heights, tailboard and drive-in loading, sits on three acres of land, and provides 25 parking spaces.
