MINNEAPOLIS—Coyote Logistics has just become the latest firm to choose a downtown location in a historic building over a suburban location. The 3PL just signed a lease for a new 30,000 square foot office at 401 1st Ave. N in Minneapolis.

David Burkards, senior vice president of MB Real Estate represented the firm in the transaction.

Coyote Logistics, a UPS subsidiary previously maintained offices in suburban Brooklyn Park. MBRE represents Coyote Logistics in their real estate interests nationwide, and the firm asked Burkards to assist with its relocation to the city's Warehouse District.

“The Warehouse District provides an environment that suits Coyote's company culture and also offers easy access to restaurants, nightlife, and the metro area as a whole,” says Burkards.

Coyote will take occupancy of the new space in the first quarter of 2016, upon completion of a custom build-out to the new space. MBRE's project services team, led by senior vice president David Graff, will manage the build-out.

“When we expand offices we always look for areas that will attract top talent, we believe the Warehouse District is a family-friendly, bustling area that our customers and employees will love,” says co-founder Marianne Silver.
