SEATTLE—Pinnacle Property Management Services, one of the nation's leading multifamily management firms, says Matthew Tuell has joined the company as a regional property manager, for the Dallas-based firm.

Tuell will oversee a portfolio of eight properties with 1,442 apartment homes in the Pacific Northwest. He will be based in Seattle, and report to executive vice president Eric Schwabe.

"Matt is highly effective at leading regional teams and will be an exceptional supervisor and coach," said Schwabe. "His ability to elevate teams while accomplishing budgeted property level objectives has been proven time and time again. Matt will surely be an effective leader and strategist at Pinnacle."

Tuell joins Pinnacle with eight years of progressive multifamily experience with both conventional and affordable assets. Most recently the area director of operations for Mercy Housing, Inc. in Seattle, he oversaw a 34-person site management team for 14 communities. In this capacity, Tuell was successful in driving occupancy and exceeding budgeted NOI. He simultaneously served as a fee management supervisor to run operations for 180 homeless and transitional housing units.

Prior, Tuell worked with Quantum Management Services and Cambridge Management in a variety of positions to support multi-state portfolios. Over the course of his career, he has demonstrated effective teambuilding abilities, financial prowess, overall property improvement and proactive preparation for physical inspections.

Tuell is a certified in both Credit Compliance Professional (C3P), Spectrum, and Red Star HUD REAC. He also holds a State of Washington Real Estate Broker license.
