MORRISTOWN, NJ — Keystone Property Group signed ProSight Specialty Insurance to a lease expansion of 38,031 square feet at its headquarters at APX, 412 Mt. Kemble Avenue in Morristown, NJ. With this expansion, the insurance provider occupies more than 92,000 square feet at the recently renovated office property.
Keystone Property Group was represented by Mack-Cali, Keystone's joint-venture partner on the building, in the transaction. Marc Rosenberg and Jim Frank of Cushman & Wakefield represented ProSight in the transaction.
"So many of today's leading companies draw inspiration from their work environment,” Tom Sklow, vice president of development and leasing at bold, tells GlobeSt.com exclusively. “We're of the mindset that an office facility is much more than desks and chairs. It's a community of knowledge workers, and we're creating an atmosphere that really enables people to aspire. In essence, we are 'building culture.'”
After acquiring 412 Mt. Kemble – now known as APX – in 2014, Keystone Property Group has commenced a comprehensive reinvestment and re-branding campaign to the three-building, 475,000-square-foot property, creating a modern, class A headquarters facility. Completed interior enhancements include new conference rooms and training centers, updated building entrances and elevators, significant expansion and equipment upgrades to the on-site fitness center, and renovations to the atrium, common areas and restrooms.
“ProSight's significant lease expansion is a testament to the transformative improvements that we've made to this property. The creation of this state-of-the-art facility will provide ProSight and our other industry-leading companies with an environment that transcends the typical day-to-day working experience,” says Bill Glazer, president of Keystone. “Our overarching goal was to create a place where people want to be on a daily basis – one that both enhances and reflects the lifestyles our tenants.”
Exterior enhancements to the property include renovations to the fountain, parking lots and walkways, in addition to improved landscaping and new signage.
"In addition to its state-of-the-art wellness center and other amenities, the property is situated in the region's preferred commercial corridor,” says Sklow. “Easy accessibility remains extremely important to today's knowledge worker, and the building is conveniently located near the confluence of many major highways, including Route 202, I-287, Route 24, Route 10, I-80 and I-280."
