WASHINGTON, DC—Skanska USA CommercialDevelopment will start selected demolition for an officeat Foggy Bottom for which it signed a ground lease with GeorgeWashington University last year.

The 11-story, 250,000-square foot office building will have theaddress of 2112 Pennsylvania Ave., NW.

It will be another speculative project by Skanska, a companythat has taken similar fliers on other office projects in the DCarea, most notably 733 10th St., NW, in 2009. The $85million development traded to Jamestown Properties three yearslater.
