MERRIFIELD, VA—The Fairfax County School Board is taking 122,948-square feet at Willow Oaks Corporate Center, a three-building office park owned by the Newport Beach, CA-based KBS REIT II.
The school board will be moving into 8270 Willow Oaks Corporate Dr., starting with its administrative operations, in March of 2016.
Willow Oaks has undergone extensive upgrades, building out such amenities as new conference center, coffee bar and fitness studio, KBS Senior VP Stephen Close noted in a prepared statement. He said that these enhancements were part of the reason why the school board picked this building.
John Gibb and Patti Restrepo of JLL represented the school board in this lease deal. Ed Clark, Steve Hoffeditz and Wes Evans of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank repped KBS REIT II.
