DALLAS--Butler Burgher Group (BBG) is expanding its assessment services capabilities, with the appointment of former CBRE executive Richard Dagnall as senior managing director in the Houston office.

Prior to joining BBG, Dagnall served as senior managing director of assessment and consulting services with CBRE Inc., where he was instrumental in growing the firm's due diligence practice into one of the industry's leading providers of assessment services. 

Besides CBRE, Dagnall has a wealth of experience establishing and growing due diligence capabilities at other firms including Land America Corp., Aaron & Wright and RERC Environmental Inc.

With more than 25 years of experience in the due-diligence industry, he has been involved in the environmental and property condition assessment of thousands of commercial properties throughout the country. His experience covers industrial, commercial, multifamily residential and undeveloped properties for investment banks, national and regional banks, agency lenders, insurance companies, developers and law firms.
