WASHINGTON, DC—Lima Hotels, a new company established by local developer Habte Sequar, is planning to develop a 14-story hotel on a site located at 317 K St., NW, on the corner of 4th and K streets. A small commercial building and auto body shop on the site will be demolished.

It is scheduled to break ground in mid-2016.

So far the company is still working to secure a management company and flag for the new hotel. It has secured PGN Architects and Gordon & Greenberg as its architectural design team. The building will be a high-rise property, with 200 hotel rooms through the 11th floors. There will be 30 apartments on the 12th through 14th floors
