SEOUL, South KoreaGlobal PMC has joined CORFAC International as its newest international affiliate and will be the commercial real estate network's resource in South Korea.

Yong-Nam Kim, president & CEO of Global PMC/CORFAC International, is the principal point-of-contact to CORFAC International and manages the firm's brokerage and property management operations. Scott Savacool, 2015 president of CORFAC International announced Global's inclusion on Thursday.

Kim is the CCIM Korea chapter president-elect and will be CCIM Korea chapter president in 2016. He was recently honored with the Best Businessman of the Year Award from the Korean Minister of Employment and Labor (May 2015). Kim earned a bachelor's degree and later a Master's degree in Real Estate from Konkuk University. He is a real estate columnist for The Korea Economic Daily, the most widely-read economic newspaper among office workers and university students in South Korea.

GLOBAL PMC/CORFAC International was initially established in 2004 to provide professional real estate management services to high net-worth individuals and private banking customers of major financial institutions and has since expanded its business lines to include brokerage services (landlord and tenant representation leasing), investment advisory services, construction management, facilities management and property management.

The firm serves the office, industrial and retail markets in South Korea's capital, which has a population of approximately 10 million people. In addition, the company covers the metropolitan cities of Daejeon, Busan and Daegu.

Global PMC has become the leader in the small and medium-sized asset management market, with over 150 people managing more than 100 buildings and serving more than 1,000 clients including landlords and tenants. Its corporate office currently has 25 professionals including officers, management, brokers and staff support.
