NEWPORT BEACH, CA— recently reported that locally based,privately owned real estate firm Voit Real EstateServices has restructured to a broker-ledorganization with Eric Hinkelman,former executive managing director of the firm, as CEO. The firmwas founded in 1971 by Bob Voit as adevelopment company. We spoke exclusively with Hinkelman about thechanges at the firm and what they mean for Voit and its clientsgoing forward. Earlier thismonth, Voit Real Estate Services publicly announced some bigchanges within the organization. Can you summarize what the newstructural changes entail?

Hinkelman: After 40-plus years ofbeing a sole ownership entity, Bob Voit is getting out of theday-to-day management and has turned the company operations over tohis brokerage professionals that have helped establish the uniquebrand and culture that is Voit Real Estate Services. This is greatopportunity for Bob to be able to focus more of his time on hispassion, investment anddevelopment, while the brokers take the helm atVoit.
