AUSTIN, TX—CBRE has recruited Ken Fidje as managing director of asset services for the Central Texas region.

Fidje oversees an approximately 19-million-square-foot real estate management portfolio throughout Austin, San Antonio and El Paso, as well as leads new business development initiatives and manages more than 50 real estate management and engineering employees.

Fidje joins CBRE from Cushman & Wakefield, Oxford Commercial in Austin, where he most recently served as the chief operating officer and executive vice president of operations & finance. Among his accomplishments during his time with the company, he increased company revenue with the launch of its property and construction management divisions and implementation of a data-driven managed brokerage platform. He has more than 23 years of experience in finance, operations and property and construction management.

“After two great years at Oxford Commercial where I gained a solid footing in Austin, I was ready to get back to what I do best—property management. Coming to CBRE means joining a great team with the brightest talent and best resources. The ability to work alongside Rob Roy and Scott Senese made it an easy decision,” said Mr. Fidje.

Prior to moving his family to Austin in 2013, Fidje spent 10 years at Vornado Realty Trust in New York City as property manager and general manager of multiple class A office buildings. His career also includes time at Lehr Construction as a project manager and Madison Square Garden as the director of building operations.

He has a Master of Business Administration from Pace University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.

Fidje reports to Rob Roy, Jr., executive managing director of asset services for CBRE's Southeast US region.
