NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ—Shanon McAlister, who previously ran his own brokerage firm in New York City, has joined retail real estate services firm Levin Management where he will market and lease several New York/New Jersey properties including Twin City Shopping Center in Jersey City and Quick Chek Center in Bayonne, NJ; Mayfair Shopping Center in Commack, and 35-71 South Ocean Avenue in Patchogue, NY.

McAlister has 15 years of retail real estate experience. In his own firm, he completed transactions involving a range of national and local tenants including 7 Eleven, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, 5 Napkin Burger, Staples, Toure de France restaurant group and Croton Reservoir Tavern restaurant, among others.

He previously held positions at Related Management Company and Garrick-Aug Associates Store Leasing. McAlister holds a bachelor's degree in business and economics, and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York trade association.
