WASHINGTON, DC—Following a soft launch earlier this year, Buccini/Pollin's 168-room Hampton Inn and Suites at the Navy Yard is now officially open for business, according to an announcement made this week by PM Hospitality Strategies, which is managing the property located at 1265 First Street SE.
The hotel is one of three forthcoming hospitality projects in this part of the Capitol Riverfront.
In the second quarter of 2016, the Bethesda, MD-based Englewood LLC will deliver a 195-key Homewood Suites by Hilton, which Englewood's affiliate, KCG 50 M LLC, is developing. It will be located at 50 M St. SE, directly across from the Navy Yard Metro station and one block from Nationals Park.
Finally, there will be a hotel as part of the mix in Grosvernor Americas' and Skanska's Capitol Riverfront F1RST project – namely a new 170-key Residence Inn by Marriott.
