WASHINGTON, DC—Transwestern has recruited three members from Cushman & Wakefield's Project and Development Services team to form a Construction Management Services team.
Richard Whitney, Todd Spear and David White will be based locally and oversee the construction management process, including tenant build-outs, capital improvements and asset repositioning.
Large-scale development projects at the firm are led by the Transwestern subsidiary DRI Development. The small-scale tenant build-outs are supervised by Transwestern Management Services. The Construction Management Services team will complement these activities.
Whitney joins managing director at Transwestern. He began his career in the construction industry in 2000 as an architect. Previous projects include the interior fit-out of the Transportation Security Administration's 500,000-square-foot national headquarters in Arlington, VA and the development of Il Palazzo Condominiums in Washington, DC.
Spear and White join as senior project manager and project manager, respectively.
