RIVERDALE, MD—As work on Calvin Cafritz Enterprises' Riverdale Park Station proceeds, three retailers have signed on to join the mixed-use project on Route 1 that broke ground last year.

They are Burton's Grill and Bar, which has leased 6,808 square feet, Comcast, which is taking 4,591 square feet and Jersey Mike's Subs, which is leasing 1,575 square feet.

H&R Retail's Geoffrey Mackler, David Ward, and Sebastian Restifo represented the landlord in the transactions.

The first phase of the 37-acre Riverdale Park Station will consist of more than 100,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and 22,000 square feet of office space — anchored by what will be Prince Georges County's first Whole Foods grocery store at 60,000 square feet.

The second phase will include 981 residential units and a Hyatt House hotel.
