Scripps Ranch Parcel Purchased for Retirement Community

SAN DIEGO— Colliers International San Diego Region has completed the sale of a 53-acre land parcel in Scripps Ranch to Continuing Life Communities , a Carlsbad -based retirement community management company, for $18,500,000.  Continuing Life Communities plans to develop The Glen at Scripps Ranch , a continuing care retirement community, located at 10495 & 10410 Pomerado Road .

David Santistevan and Gunder Creager of Colliers International San Diego Region’s San Diego Land Team represented the buyer The Glen at Scripps Ranch, LLC , an affiliated entity of Continuing Life Communities, and the seller Alliant Educational Foundation . “This is the last large undeveloped site in Scripps Ranch, which provides a spectacular location to develop a first class community that is greatly needed for the baby boomer population nearing and already in retirement,” said David Santistevan , executive vice president and leader of the San Diego Land Team at Colliers International San Diego Region. Plans for The Glen at Scripps Ranch include 450 assisted living units comprised of apartment and single-family residences with attached garages as well as 60 skilled nursing beds. The campus will include a fitness center and spa, tennis courts, short-game golf course, walking and cycling trails, and movie theater among other amenities. Continuing Life Communities plans to break ground this month.
