DALLAS—Del Frisco's closed its 5152 Spring Valley Rd. location in August, recently opening its new restaurant location at 2323 Olive St. in Uptown Dallas. However, the Spring Valley Road site was not to languish for long.
The former Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House North Dallas property recently sold to Provident Realty Advisors. The sales price was undisclosed. It will now be occupied by Al Biernat's, one of Dallas' elite steakhouses, in September 2017.
Jake Pavelka, vice president of retail development and investment sales at E Smith Realty Partners, and Saadia Sheikh, also with E Smith Realty Partners, represented Del Frisco's in the sale of the Spring Valley Road restaurant site.
“Situated in a very dense corridor of North Dallas, we were inundated with activity,” Pavelka tells GlobeSt.com. “Provident Realty Advisors purchased a well-positioned asset prime for the right tenant.”
Del Frisco's was founded by Dale Wamstad in the late 1980s with three locations throughout Dallas: Lemmon Avenue, Belt Line in Addison and Spring Valley Road, which opened in June 1993. The company is now Del Frisco's Restaurant Group based in Southlake, with a collection of more than 40 restaurants across the country, including Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House and Sullivan's Steakhouse.
“We enjoyed working with Del Frisco's on the sale of their highly sought-after building,” said Pavelka. “The restaurant on Olive Street has a spacious finish-out and will remain one of the city's go-to spots.”
