NEW YORK CITY—RD Management has promoted former SVP resident Roger Hirschhorn to COO.
He brings nearly 30 years of experience in the shopping center industry to the position. Throughout Hirschhorn's career, he has worked for both shopping center owners and Home Depot as senior real estate manager, according to his LinkedIn profile.
At RD Management, Hirschhorn has had a hand in all aspects of the business including property management, accounting, leasing, development, acquisitions, dispositions, construction, and finance.
In his new position, overseeing one of the nation's largest privately held real estate development and management organizations, Hirschhorn will have direct oversight in all aspects of the company, including day-to-day operations.
He'll continue to lend his expertise and contribute strategic direction to RD Management and its national portfolio of over 200 properties that span the retail, office, residential, mixed-use, hospitality, self-storage, and senior housing sectors.
“We have been fortunate to have Roger on our team for over 13 years now, as his breadth of knowledge in retail real estate is invaluable,” says Richard Birdoff, principal and president of RD Management. “Roger has the expertise and vision to be a driving force in the continued measured growth, strength, and integrity of the company, and I wish him great success in his new role.”
