MIAMI—A Chicago-based investmentfirm is about to complete the $35 million re-positioning of theformer Motorola office park into anoffice/retail campus in Plantation, FL. Therenovation of this iconic property has injected new life to thecity.

Specifically, the renovation is attracting innovative tech andhealthcare companies as tenants and adding restaurants,landscaping, lighting, a fitness center, a jogging trail around amanmade lake and other amenities for tenants to enjoy. The campusis now home to Motorola, Magic Leap, a company developing virtualreality technology, and health care company Amsurg Corp., amongothers.
