MORRISTOWN, NJ—Brian Decillis has left Onyx Equities to become a managing director in Cushman & Wakefield’s New Jersey brokerage operations.

Based in Cushman & Wakefield’s Morristown office and working with industry veterans Robert Donnelly Sr. and Rob Donnelly Jr., Decillis will focus on agency leasing, tenant representation and multimarket account work.

Brian’s unique blend of experience, working for major owners and developers throughout the state, is underscored by his reputation with brokers and tenants,” says Andrew Judd, managing principal and head of Cushman & Wakefield’s New Jersey region. “He will be able to apply those skills and his standing in the industry immediately to Cushman & Wakefield clients.”

Decillis was most recently vice president of leasing and asset management at Onyx Equities, where he held joint leasing responsibilities for the firm’s 1.4 million-square-foot Bergen County office portfolio.

Brian has been a valued member of the Onyx team, taking a leadership role with the leasing & repositioning of our Bergen County assets, and we look forward to the opportunity of working together in the future,” says Onyx’s co-founder John Saraceno Jr. “We see this as an extension of the already strong relationship Onyx has with Cushman & Wakefield.”

He has held senior leasing and asset management responsibilities at leading real estate organizations such as Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, The Lefrak Organization and The Gale Company. During his career, he has held leasing responsibilities for more than 10 million square feet of office space in more than 50 buildings in Jersey City, Bergen County, and Morris County.

Decillis holds a bachelor’s degree in applied economics and business management from Cornell University. He is also an active member of NAIOP New Jersey and the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.

“We are delighted that Brian has joined us,” says Rob Donnelly Jr., executive managing director. “He will be a vital part of our team as we meet the ever-evolving needs of our clients. His diverse experience will bring immediate benefit, both to those owners that we serve and to the tenants we represent.”
