Harwood Retains Firm in Lease Expansion
Northern Trust has been a tenant at Saint Ann Court for five years and expanded from 8,000 to 13,000 rentable square feet at Harwood 6–Saint Ann Court, allowing its professionals to work under one roof.
DALLAS—Harwood International transformed the Uptown neighborhood into the District of Harwood featuring class-A office, luxury residential and retail space within a campus with gardens and art-filled lobbies. An existing tenant, Northern Trust Corporation, continues to see the value of the space, and recently signed a lease renewal and expansion.
“After considering other office space, we decided to expand our footprint at Saint Ann Court in Harwood District,” Mark Flagg, Dallas region president for Northern Trust, tells GlobeSt.com. “We value our location in Uptown, and our clients and employees appreciate the myriad of amenities the area has to offer.”

The list of Harwood tenants in Saint Ann Court also includes Amegy Bank, Boston Consulting Group, McDermott Will & Emery, McGuire, Craddock Strother, Unisys and Viant Technology.
Designed by Los Angeles-based Shimoda Design Group, Saint Ann Court opened in 2009 and is the sixth out of 18 phases planned by Harwood International. The first level of the two-story red brick building next to Saint Ann Court is Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar and the second level houses the Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum: The Samurai Collection.
Other features for tenants and visitors include the Rockefeller Sky Gardens over the 11-story parking garage, Mercat Bistro, valet parking and a private fitness center overlooking the Saint Ann Court garden.
The latest addition to the District is Harwood number 10, the class-A office tower featuring 220,548 rentable square feet of office space and La Rue Perdue, a European-style alleyway consisting of more than 14,000 rentable square feet of retail and restaurant space. The 18-city block district will continue to grow to include more than $3 billion in office, retail and residential development.
