Industrial's Most Influential Names

In all segments of commercial real estate, there are a number of individuals that have made an indelible impact on their line of business.

The industrial sector has seen significant investment activity in Q1 of this year, according to a recent report from JLL with new supply and net absorption on track to surpass 200 million square feet by end of 2018. The report also says that the sector has a robust acquisition pipeline further advanced by large-scale portfolios and entity-level activity. In addition, investors are being outbid in core markets and are aggressively expanding to secondary and tertiary markets, the report says.

Yet this activity would not have occurred without the efforts of the people working in the business. In all segments of commercial real estate, there are a number of individuals that have made an indelible impact on their line of business. Be it through their contributions to the industry, or the vast successes they’ve racked up in completing deals and projects, or the innovations and best practices they’ve introduced to the business, these people and organizations have helped to shape their field and where it is headed.

If you, your company or someone you know are one of the many influencers in the industrial sector, we want to hear about it. There’s still time to nominate candidates for Real Estate Forum magazine’s Industrial Influencers, in advance of special sections to appear in the magazine’s July/August Global Issue and in a special supplement on GlobeSt.com. However, that time is running down; nominations close on June 15th.

Industrial Influencers is the second feature in Forum’s Influencers in CRE series. The first installment, Retail Influencers, appeared in the May 2018 issue.
