CBRE Adds to Valuation & Advisory Team In Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA—CBRE named Doug Main, ASA, CRE, CCIM, CEC, MAI, SGA  and executive vice president and says Mike Hunter, MAI, has been hired as director on the Valuation & Advisory Services team in Atlanta, GA.

Doug has more than 24 years of experience in the industry, leading national teams for two of the Big 4 professional services firms, Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers,” says Ron Neyhart, senior managing director, Valuation & Advisory Services, CBRE. “With more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry providing valuation, consulting, litigation support and expert witness services, Mike will be a great asset to our team and we’re looking forward to his and Doug’s contributions to CBRE.”

Main comes to CBRE from Deloitte, where he served as managing director in advisory services. At CBRE, he will lead the national practice of waste management, environmental, mines, alternative energy, and complex matters for VAS.

Before Deloitte, Main was director of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Golf/Recreation Group and Waste Group, managing the valuation practice in a number of regions across the country. His specialized experience includes portfolio valuation and analyses, merger and acquisition due diligence, investment and SOWT analyses, partial interest valuations, highest and best use analyses, property tax and estate valuations, market studies, purchase allocations, asset impairment and FIRPTA valuations. He also specializes in detrimental condition, damage, and event impact claim studies and valuations, and litigation support and expert witness testimony.

Hunter joins CBRE from McColgan & Company, a regional valuation firm, and will assist in the overall management of VAS in the Southeast. Hunter has been exclusively engaged in appraising, consulting, market analysis and litigation support within the commercial real estate industry since 1987. As the owner of McColgan & Company, his experience includes valuation and market analysis relative to various commercial property types, including, but not limited to, multifamily, office, industrial, retail, hotel, land, senior housing, subsidized housing, mixed-use developments, SBA going-concern valuations and residential and commercial subdivisions.
