Yellow Brick RoadportfolioBALTIMORE--Following another purchase it just made in this market,Dallas-based Colony Industrial has acquired aportfolio of two warehouse properties here that are located at 8901and 8965 Yellow Brick Road. Colony Industrial is the lightindustrial platform of Colony Capital.Colony Industrial acquiredthe Yellow Brick Road Portfolio days ago. The properties total219,760 square feet and offer immediate access to Interstate 95 andInterstate 695. The buildings are 100% leased to six tenants.Thislatest acquisition in Baltimore, said LewFriedland, managing director at Colony Capital and head ofColony Industrial in a prepared statement, is “another example ofour strategy to selectively acquire infill industrial properties inhigh-demand markets that provide the critical last-mile link in thedelivery cycle.”CBRE's Robert Cashman andJonathan Beard acted as real estate brokers on thetransaction.All together Colony Industrial now owns 24 lightindustrial logistics buildings in Baltimore. It also acquired,within the last two weeks, the 90,058-square foot 8261 Preston Ct.The building, which is currently vacant, is located within amulti-building industrial park.Colony Industrial has begun workredeveloping the property, upgrades that include a40,000-square-foot trailer parking lot and replacing HVAC, amongother improvements.Cashman and Beard acted as real estate brokerson this transaction as well.
