Mega-Sites Lead Next Industrial Revolution Phase

CHAMBERS COUNTY, TX—It is beginning to look like all industrial, all the time, just to keep up with the e-commerce demand. Construction is set to begin in October on the 349,440-square-foot Cedar Port IV Distribution Center at Fisher Road and Highway 99/Grand Parkway. Cedar Port IV will be a rail-served dock-high distribution facility on 22.74 acres in Cedar Port Business Park, according to Clay Development & Construction Inc.

Clay purchased the land for Cedar Port IV last month and completion is scheduled for summer 2019. Clay’s original 79.57-acre Cedar Port property was purchased in December 2015 and has been developed, including the 1 million-square-foot Ikea distribution complex, its first on the Gulf Coast.
