SEATTLE—The four-county central Puget Sound region gained 67,860people during the last year as its total population reached 4.135million. Since 2010, the region has gained more than 440,000 newresidents, according to the Puget Sound Regional Council.
The pace of population growth slowed compared to the previous two yearswhen the region added more than 80,000 people annually, but stillrepresents a robust rate of growth. It was third-highest increasein population in the past two decades.
