Virtua Partners Invests $500M in Hotel Equities

The capital will be used for acquisitions, organic growth and strategic investments into various hospitality assets.

ATLANTA–Private equity firm Virtua Partners is making a series of investments in the locally-based Hotel Equities that will total more than $500 million. Hotel Equities plans to use the capital to fund acquisitions, organic growth and strategic investments into various hospitality assets.

Hotel Equities is full-scale hotel ownership, management and development firm operating 100 plus hotels throughout North America. Frederick W. Cerrone is the founder and chairman; Brad Rahinsky serves as President and CEO.

Virtua Partners, which has a specialty in commercial real estate, holds significant investments in hotels and other hospitality properties throughout the country. Virtua Partners has targeted a series of investments totaling over $500 million, some of which will be deployed through hospitality investments and Opportunity Zones, as well as acquisitions and new development.
