ATLANTA, GA—Broadstone Yards, West Midtown’s newest multifamily development, is welcoming its first residents this month. Located at 1084 Howell Mill Rd NW, the art-centered residential community is aligning its image at the intersection of the culture, history and soul of the Westside district.

Designed by architects Lord Aeck Sargent and Brock Hudgins Associates, Broadstone Yards includes three mid-rise buildings with 251 luxury studio, one- and two-bedroom units that have direct pedestrian access to Westside Provisions District. Residents will walking distance from Atlanta’s hottest shops, restaurants and bars, with some of the best skyline views in the city.

Broadstone Yards partnered with Hope Cohn Projects to commission several pieces of art from noted and emerging local artists alike, including residents from the Goat Farm Arts Center. Each piece of artwork is uniquely inspired by movement, reflecting Atlanta’s history and celebrating the city’s industrial beginnings. Several large-scale murals are prominently displayed throughout amenity spaces, including a six-story abstract mural created by Atlanta muralist Michael Jones overlooking the resort-style saltwater pool.

“We centered the art at Broadstone Yards around the rich, industrial history of Atlanta,” says Hope Cohn, art curator and founder of Hope Cohn Projects. “Focusing on its historical grit and commercial roots, we filled Broadstone Yards with art that emphasizes ‘the Atlanta-made.’ As you walk through the space, we have infused your experience with colorful, contemporary, and innovative works from several of our renowned Atlanta artists. Each of our artists builds on the history of transportation and movement to create thought-provoking artwork that captures the essence of Atlanta perfectly.”

With wall-to-wall windows, each unit includes a chef’s kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, including a gas-powered range, French-door refrigerators and high-end microwaves. Select homes have built-in wine coolers and every unit is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer.

“Renters are prioritizing experiences and location more than ever,” says Kim Bucklew, managing director of Alliance Residential Company. “With that in mind, Broadstone Yards is in the heart of it all and offers community-driven amenities to foster connections between residents, the Westside community and the industrial history that our city was built upon. Through our exciting partnership with exceptionally talented local artists, we are creating a vibrant, unique and culturally enriched environment for our residents to enjoy.”

Broadstone Yards also features contemporary co-working space that includes two private offices, a conference room with video capabilities and a communal work area where residents can tackle work, host colleagues, join a video meeting, grab coffee or convene with neighbors. Other amenities include a high-intensity fitness center with a Peloton bike, battle ropes, climbing rope and peg boards; bike storage with repair station; an expansive rooftop lounge with bar, drinking ledge, outdoor TV, outdoor games and grills; a dog spa; and a community courtyard with a firepit and fountain.
