AUSTIN, TX—One of Housing Authority of the City of Austin'sfirst redevelopments of a public housing property formerly known asGoodrich Place at 2126 Goodrich Ave. has been renamed Pathways atGoodrich Place. It is located in the Zilker Neighborhood, one ofAustin's highest opportunity areas.

The property is being redeveloped as part of HUD's RentalAssistance Demonstration/RAD, a federal initiative to improve thequality and availability of federally assisted housing. Accordingto HUD, Pathways at Goodrich Place represents the 100,000th publichousing unit being converted through RAD. The redevelopment willresult in significant quality of life improvements for residents and the community.
