Everest’s Fifth Physical Rehab Center to Deliver in 2019

All Everest Rehabilitation facilities are identical and pre-designed for the expansion capability of additional private patient bedrooms as the market dictates.

Everest’s $23 million-dollar rehabilitation hospital will provide an $8 million annual payroll.

KELLER, TX—Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals LLC plans to build a fifth physical rehabilitation hospital here. Everest’s $23 million-dollar rehabilitation hospital project will create more than 100 jobs and provide an $8 million annual payroll to the community.

Everest’s comprehensive physical rehabilitation hospital will be constructed on 4.32 acres, just north of Fort Worth in Tarrant County at 955 S. Main St. (US Highway 377). The hospital site sits on a highly visible and newly widened road with more than 37,000 cars a day. The city approvals and plans are complete, and the construction is scheduled for completion in 14 months.

Among the amenities, the 40,000-square-foot hospital includes 36 private patient bedrooms and bathrooms designed more like a luxury hotel than a typical hospital. All Everest Rehabilitation facilities are identical and pre-designed for the expansion capability of additional private patient bedrooms as the market dictates.

The hospital includes fully equipped inpatient and outpatient gyms, an outdoor mobility courtyard for therapeutic use, aqua therapy, a fully furnished training apartment with kitchen and bathroom, several family gathering areas, an open dining hall and patio, in-house dialysis and an in-house pharmacy. The hospital will serve patients recovering from injuries and illness or living with disabilities and chronic medical conditions. Customized rehabilitation services are tailored to the individual needs of patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation and orthopedic injury.

“We are extremely excited to be a part of the Keller, North Fort Worth, North Richland Hills, Trophy Club, Southlake, Saginaw and Roanoke communities. We have been looking for a site to build one of our rehabilitation hospitals in this fast-growing community for two years,” says Jay Quintana, Everest Rehabilitation’s CEO. “We could not be happier with our centrally located physician/patient-friendly location in Keller, TX.”

Quintana says Everest firmly believes that patients thrive exponentially when their environment and care far exceed expectations.

“The level of care in our acute rehabilitation hospital setting cannot be provided at other levels of care such as skilled nursing facilities,” Quintana points out. “The average length of stay at a comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation hospital is one-third of a typical stay at a skilled nursing facility. We provide one-to-one therapy five to seven days a week, daily medical visits by rehab physicians and a strong nurse-to-patient ratio that contributes to optimal outcomes and the highest quality of care.”

Everest Rehabilitation Hospital Keller will feature a comprehensive and interdisciplinary physician-led team of rehabilitation therapists focused on increasing patient strength and endurance, and improving quality of life in a naturally lit setting. The hospital’s therapy programs provide for around-the-clock registered nursing care to patients overcoming a stroke, brain injury, neurological deficits, orthopedic conditions, pulmonary disease, spinal cord injury, amputations and other medically complex conditions.
