San Diego Office Building Sold By Bixby Land Co.

The 62,424 square foot creative office building space was 66% leased.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA–Bixby Land Co. recently sold The Oberlin, a 62,424 square foot office building, in San Diego for $20.4 million.

The buyer was CPF Oberlin Associates, LLC, a subsidiary of Crown Realty & Development, Inc. The building was 66% leased at the time of sale.

Purchased in September 2014, Bixby Land Co. redesigned the building to include outdoor gathering and work spaces, a fitness area and updated interior and exterior finishes.

Jones Lang LaSalle’s Bob Prendergast and Lynn LaChappelle represented both the buyer and seller, Crown Realty and Bixby Land Co.

Bixby Land Co. is a 120-year-old commercial real estate operator and investment manager with a portfolio totaling approximately $1 billion.
